In honor of Trans Day of Remembrance, I bring you "My Name (Is Joanna), A reclamation of Queer Power with a freak-folk flair, this song celebrates the agency we have as Queer and Trans people to choose what parts of our stories to tell, and when to tell them.
Think honky-tonk cabaret with a little extra story-telling, some Queer Vaudeville, and some explosive tap dance breakouts! Sounds like: Amanda Palmer, Arlo Guthrie, and Tom Leher with a spoken intro reminiscent of Beethoven Violin Concerto.
